RIP June Foray

June Foray has passed away at the age of 99. She was one of the most prominent voice actors in the animation industry of all time. If you don’t recognize her name, you’ll definitely recognize her voice– be it in Looney Tunes (Granny and Witch Hazel), The Smurfs (Jokey), Rocky & Bullwinkle (Rocky and Natasha), Dr. Seuss animated adaptations (Cindy Lou Who), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (Lena Hyena and Wheezy Weasel), and even The Twilight Zone (Talky Tina) as well as several other franchises. The impact she’s had on cartoon history will last for as long as cartoons themselves are around. Rest in peace.

Recent Doodles

Follow my Twitter or DeviantArt to see these posted in real time, but have some recent drawings I’ve done!

Fanart of the Angry Video Game Nerd, my favorite online series.

Rocky and Bullwinkle, drawn while having a conversation about said characters in an online group chat with friends. Coincidentally, a few days ago was June Foray(the voice actor for Rocky)’s 99th(!) birthday. She’s STILL active. That is serious talent and dedication, folks.

Drawn in honor of getting accepted to SharkCar Studios, a Twitter group where we try to come up with the most insane messagesĀ in a private group chat.

I dunno why, but I’ve recently been on a “draw characters as Ghostbusters” kick.

Drawn in honor of the first trailer being dropped for Adult Swim’s upcoming Toe Jam & Earl revival.

This drawing was done differently than usual in that I did the rough pencils on paper, but inked it digitally. I don’t do that often, maybe I should.

Scooby and Shaggy in my style.

More Ghostbusters/Scooby mayhem.

…Don’t really have a good explanation for this one, sorry.

Even more Ghostbusters stuff.

Because why not?

Follow-up/improvement at a previous drawing of mine, The Muppevengers.

Cartoon Relationships

I drew the above comic a little while ago, when suddenly I had a startling epiphany:

Every cartoon character’s significant other is just a gender-benderedĀ doppelganger of themselves.

Think about it for a second.

It only gets weirder from there on out.
